BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — On Thursday, Mayor Jared M. Kraham announced details for Binghamton’s 2022 business plan competition.
The announcement was made Thursday morning at the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator where the mayor was joined by the Binghamton Local Development Corporation and SUNY Broome’s Entrepreneurial Assistance Center.
The first, second and third place winners of the competition will win cash prizes to help fund their business.
SUNY Broome representatives told 12 News that now is the time for Binghamton residents to sign up.
“There is support through the Entrepreneurship Help Center for anyone considering signing up. If he needs help with his pitch, he can come, he can get help if he needs help with his business plan,” said Darlene Kanuk of the BCC Entrepreneurship Assistance Centre. .
Kanuk added that they are also offering a free business development workshop for city businesses and business plan competition applicants on March 30.
Topics will include marketing planning and strategies, presenting your business, legal and organizational aspects, etc.
