Region’s Business Organization Adds 2 New Awards to Annual Honors > Columbia Business Report

Applications are open for the Chamber of Commerce of Colombiaannual prices.

The eighth edition of the Columbia Impact Awards includes two new categories: the Hospitality Award and the Workforce Development Award. These join the established list of Diversity and Inclusion, Small Business of the Year and Golden Nail, which recognizes a business or owner for exemplary contributions to the physical character of the Midlands through cosmetic or commercial.

Nominations are due no later than January 12, 2022 at 5 p.m.

Diversity and Inclusion Award: celebrates a company’s efforts to implement and champion an inclusive and diverse work environment.

Small Business of the Year Award: highlights the contributions of a company with less than 50 employees to the chamber and the community.

Gold Nail Award: recognizes an organisation’s contributions to the physical character of the Midlands over the previous calendar year.

Host price: recognizes hospitality industry partners whose efforts help make Columbia a world-class place to live, work and visit.

Workforce Development Award: rewards innovative strategies implemented by partners to create and retain a dynamic workforce in the greater Midlands region.
